Assam Public Service Commission APSC released a notification for the recruitment of forest ranger jobs under environment and forest department. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to download application form from website www.apsc.nic.in and submit filled application form on or before 08.08.2014 for recruitment of 45 forest ranger jobs for the year 2014.

Details of Vacancies:
- Forest Ranger: 45 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates have Bachelor's Degree in Science or engineering from recognized university with at least one of the subjects given in notification.
Age limit: Candidates age should not less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01.01.2014. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the fees Rs.5/- of original treasury receipt for SC/ST, Rs.2.50/- as application fee, Rs.50/- as examination fee for SC/ST category candidates.
Selection Process: Selection is on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview.
